Our plan was to create a photo series with Muslim creatives and members of the muslim community discussing their memories celebrating Eid al-Fitr. This photo series will highlight the nuances of each family’s celebration, the preparation, the foods, and gifts exchanged during the special day. The on-screen talent will be wearing a variety of Muslim-owned clothing and accessories brands to showcase the beautiful culture surrounding the special day.

For the second edition of our Eid Photo Series, we wanted to bring together creatives to showcase their diverse experiences in their day-to-day life, professional careers, Ramadan and Eid celebrations. We aimed to create Hero photos for the Eid shoot that will be the centerpiece of the entire project, representing the theme and spirit of the holiday. The execution of such photos involved careful planning, styling, and photography to capture the creatives in their cultural or Islamic wear in a striking and meaningful way. Our aim was to focus on using natural and artificial lighting, vibrant colors, and geometric patterns to create a visually stunning and impactful photo, and to add an Islamic touch, incorporating geometric patterns into the decor through wall art, rugs, and throw pillows.

For Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr celebrations, we spotlighted 22 individuals in our creative industry who are making it work while walking in their faith. This photo series highlights the nuances of each family’s celebration, preparation, food, and gifts exchanged during the special day and embodies everything that Take More Photos stands for, which at its core is bringing together the community.
